God wants all men to be saved. This is a specific declaration coming from the Creator Himself.
God gave his only begotten son to save men.
This divine action was repeatedly cited to stress loving kindness of God to worshipers by many pastors & priests in every fellowship I attended in the past.
1 Tim 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Jn 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only-begotten Son, that whoever believeth in him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.
But the Bible speaks of a God who made himself as nothing, taking the form of a servant, being made like men; And being seen in form as a man, he took the lowest place, and let himself be put to death, even the death of the cross for the purpose of saving not all people but many people only.
Heb 2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons to glory, to make the Captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
Likewise also, like the many people who are to be saved, 2/3 of the Angels are only to be saved as mentioned in the prophecy.
Rev 12:4 And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman who was ready to be delivered, to devour her child as soon as it was born.
Stars in the above verse refers to Angels as proven by this verse:
Rev 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.
How do Angels commit sin anyway?
Jud 1:6 And the angels who kept not their first state, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness to the judgment of the great day.
The Angels leave their habitation in their desire for a higher position as what Satan did.
Is 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
Is 14:13 For thou hast said in thy heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
Is 14:14 I will ascend above the hights of the clouds; I will be like the Most High.
The Once saved always saved (OSAS) belief is not in anyway applicable in the above instances. It’s up to you brother’s & sister’s whom to join. It is a choice between darkness & light, bad & good, saved & not saved. Be that as it may, use your free will wisely.
