I feel that I am forever young on the inside and the spirit that within me is still the same as far as I can remember, not forever pervert as the picture insinuate.😦
The inner me says that I can continuously dance and run and can do the same as I did 30 years ago but my body can not implement what I want. I am very sure, the others with my age feels the same.
Lk 2:40 And the child grew, and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of God was upon him.
Paul in his letter to the Corinthians explained this feeling of weak body and strong spirit happening between the inward and outward man.
2 Cor 4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man is wasted, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.
2 Cor 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
More are concerned on the outward appearance of a man. Everybody wants to be beautiful by adorning themselves with broidered hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array.
1 Pet 3:4 Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing gold, or of putting on apparel;
1 Pet 3:4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
Instead of spending time adorning the outside appearance, Man should concentrate on the strengthening of the spirit that can last forever. After all;
Jn 6:63 It is the spirit that reviveth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak to you, they are spirit, and they are life.
