The Couturier

Fashion shows can be seen anywhere. It is shown either in public or private. Made by famous couturiers who involved in the clothing fashion industry, the original creations will be introduce at the malls, hotels, television shows and at the world wide web – the internet.

Generally, the concept is quite similar and the same. It’s showing most of the skin. Let us consider the feeling of others brought about by the person who wear the clothes. Some people viewed it as an art but to others who has the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes, the perception is different.

Rom 15:1 We then that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves.

1 Cor 8:9 But take heed lest by any means this liberty of yours should become a stumbling-block to them that are weak.

It is natural for a couple to wear less inside their room without anyone seeing them. Even Adam & Eve who after eating the forbidden fruit of the tree was seen naked by God.

Gen 3:10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden: and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.

Gen 3:11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree of which I commanded thee, that thou shouldest not eat?

God is the first Couturier. He made Adam and Eve clothes to wear for the sake of their Children.

Gen 3:21 For Adam also and for his wife the LORD God made coats of skins, and clothed them.

And the couple who will get out of their private room must wear clothes for the sake of their Children.

Lev 18:6 None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the LORD.

Lev 18:7 The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shalt thou not uncover: she is thy mother, thou shalt not uncover her nakedness.

Lev 18:8 The nakedness of thy father’s wife shalt thou not uncover: it is thy father’s nakedness.

Lev 18:9 The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, whether born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover.

And so, for Couturiers out there, the next time you think of fashion, be like God who remember the weak in all his creations.
