Eagle Eye

I spent the whole day at the Mall for the clearance needed in the renewal of my real estate broker’s license. It’s a long line of people occupying both side of the stairs from basement to the 5th floor.

At the 5th floor, I looked down below and saw people walking at the ground floor and hardly recognize anyone for they are so small and can see only the top of their head.

I then realized, how visible is the prey of an eagle from a distance.

Job 9:26 They are passed away as the swift ships: as the eagle that hasteth to the prey.

Likewise, how clearly can God see us from heaven?

Ps 11:4 The Lord is in his holy Temple, the Lord’s seat is in heaven; his eyes are watching and testing the children of men..

It is not God who is everywhere but his eyes are in every place, looking at us from a distance.

Prov 15:3 The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

The eyes of God also run to and fro through the whole earth.

Zech 4:10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

Even the heart which can not be searched by any man, He knows it.

Jer 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Jer 17:10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.

But compared to an eagle, the man of God, having a limited vision, has an eye that can see things which are not seen.

2 Cor 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
