Mother of Jesus

Life of Jesus as a child was accounted for though some says it’s incomplete. Being the son of Joseph the Carpenter, he is famous and known also as a carpenter helping his father until he fulfilled his duty.

And he said: For I have not spoken from myself; but the Father who sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

He began to teach in the synagogue: and a number of people hearing him were surprised, saying, From where did this man get these things? and, What is the wisdom given to this man, and what are these works of power done by his hands?

Mk 6:3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Judas, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.

While Jesus was yet speaking to the people, then one said to him, thy mother and thy brethren stood outside, desiring to speak with thee.

Mt 12:48 But he answered and said to him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?

Mt 12:49 And he stretched forth his hand towards his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!

Mt 12:50 For whoever shall do the will of my Father who is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

While hanging on the cross, this message of Jesus to Mary and his disciple, behold thy son, behold thy mother doesn’t mean she is now the mediator or act to co-operate as channel between God and man.

Jn 19:26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he saith unto his mother, Woman, behold thy son!

Jn 19:27 Then saith he to the disciple, Behold thy mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.

Because, It is only after the death of Jesus where his mother Mary became an active member of the Church of God.

Acts 1:14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the apostles, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin and desire a better country, that is, a heavenly citizenship though until today, they are not yet made perfect without us.

Heb 11:37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheep-skins, and goat-skins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented;

Heb 11:38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.

Heb 11:39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:

Heb 11:40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

This word of faith was concluded knowing that no man hath seen God at anytime except Jesus.

1 Jn 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

Jn 3:13 And no man hath ascended to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man who is in heaven.

Remember the second coming of Jesus where the dead who died with Christ Jesus be resurrected in the twinkling of an eye? He is speaking of preparing a place for the saints in his Father’s house.

Jn 14:2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Jn 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

Without Jesus second coming, without the dead being risen from the grave, Mary the mother of Jesus, is still a dust. Same with the apostles of Christ.

Eccl 3:19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other; yes, they have all one breath; so that a man hath no pre-eminence above a beast: for all is vanity.

Eccl 3:20 All go to one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.

Ezek 37:6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

And to kneel down and worship before a creature dead or alive is an abomination unto God.

Rom 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
