I Was Risen From The Dead

kaspagarigan-risenfromthedeadYes, you read it right. I was once dead, buried and was risen from the dead.

I may be mistakenly likened to people claiming to have experienced physical death and then rose from the dead to perform a specific mission on earth. That’s a big lie and liars go to hell where their father, the devil dwell. Jn 8:44

I am talking of the spiritual death not the physical death or the appointed time when men had to die once and will be risen from the dead to face judgment.

Heb 9:27 And as it is appointed to men once to die, but after this the judgment:

I suffered death because I was once lived in pleasure and anyone who gives himself to pleasure is dead while he/she is still living.

1 Tim 5:6 But she that liveth in pleasure, is dead while she liveth.

The gospel of Christ opened my eyes, and turned me from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that I may receive forgiveness of sins. Then I was buried with Christ in baptism and together with Christ raised from the dead.

Col 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, in which also ye are raised with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

Eph 5:14 Wherefore he saith, Awake, thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ will give thee light.

Spiritually, we’re all dead and unless not buried with Christ in baptism, we will not have the option to be raised from the dead.

2 Cor 5:14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:

2 Cor 5:15 And that he died for all, that they who live should not henceforth live to themselves, but to him who died for them, and rose again.

For those given the chance with their own free will and opted to be raised from the dead, what is expected of them while they are still alive?

Rom 6:10 For in that he died, he died to sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth to God.

Thus consider ourselves also to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord. As a newly raised from dead, we have to walk in the path of righteousness where God walks. We have to live a life with a conscience pure and not offensive towards God, and towards men.

This is not the same as the raising of the dead on the coming of Jesus Christ because on that day, whether you like it or not without your own free will, the raising of the dead is within the option of God.

1 Thess 4:16 For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

1 Thess 4:17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

For if God raised up Christ Jesus from the dead, God will also can give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

Rom 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised Jesus from the dead dwelleth in you, he that raised Christ from the dead will also revive your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

For there is spiritual life to those who find them, and health to their whole mortal body. Together with Christ, I was risen from the dead because with God, nothing is impossible. ♫♪ Walk with faith in your heart and you will never walk alone ♪♫♪ for God will always be on your side. And if God walks with us, who can be against us?
