The Walking Dead
The plot focuses primarily on the dilemmas the group of survivors faces as they struggle to maintain their humanity in the midst of a chaotic world full of zombie hordes and hostile human survivors.
It’s an epidemic. Anyone whom the zombie may devour becomes one of them and added to the herds attacking humans that do not belong or is not one of their kind.
1 Pet 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:
In the Bible, just like the zombies of The Walking Dead, any human being who are out of the way of understanding and or not doing the will of God shall remain in the assembly of the living dead.
Prov 21:16 The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead.
Anyone who gives himself to the pleasure of the world may not be the target of the devil because they are his cohort.
Eph 2:2 In which in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
But the eyes of the devil shall be upon them who were once disobedient but made perfect and sanctified by baptism in water by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Cor 6:11 And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
1 Tim 5:6 But she that liveth in pleasure, is dead while she liveth.
If the group of survivors in the movie The Walking Dead struggle to maintain their humanity, humans in the real world struggle to resist the bait of the devil by walking away from the dead in faith. Submitting themselves unto God, accepting the spirit of truth and rejecting the spirit of error, ending their journey as a previous member of the walking dead.
