One Shepherd

kaspagarigan-oneshepherdDeception, deceit,  are acts to propagate beliefs of things that are not true, or not the whole truth (as in half-truths or omission). Deception can involve dissimulation, propaganda, and sleight of hand, as well as distraction, camouflage, or concealment. There is also self-deception, as in bad faith. (From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

Claiming a title who belongs to another person is a deceit. You are impersonating ones authority to deceive people and claim credit for doing it.

Jesus said to his disciples, many will come in my name, saying, I am Christ, don’t follow them.

Lk 21:8  And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many will come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and the time draweth near: therefore go ye not after them.

Leaders of religions today allow their followers to call them Pastor. A pastor is a minister in charge of a Christian church or congregation. A name derives from the Latin noun pastor which means “shepherd” and there is only one shepherd mentioned in the Bible.

Jn 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

In the first christian era, christian call their leaders brother and nowhere in the book where you can read that christian called their leaders or ministers “Pastor”.

2 Cor 1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, to the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints who are in all Achaia:

Nobody can be a shepherd of salvation, you may be a sheep or a goat but not a shepherd because Jesus Christ is that one shepherd that will come and will separate the sheep from the goats.

Mt 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then will he sit upon the throne of his glory:

Mt 25:32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

Then will he say unto the goats, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. Like sheep, death shall feed on them.

Ps 49:14  Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling.

Do not be deceived. Jesus said to his disciples, many will come in my name, saying, I am Christ &/or I am a pastor, don’t follow them. They are impostors who pretend to be Jesus Christ in order to deceive others, especially for fraudulent gain.
