Death Penalty

God set before us life and death, blessing and cursing and establish reward and punishment which is eternal life and eternal damnation.

Death Penalty is not a deterrent to commit evil deed or heinous crime because even the Eternal Death Penalty set by God are ignored.

Therefore, death penalty is not a deterrent but a punishment for those people who opted to violate rules and the calling commanded on them to follow and obey.

The question now to the would be offenders is this; Why should you die before the time of your death set by God?

Eccles 7:17 Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldst thou die before thy time?

All of us shall be judged according to our works while we lived whether death is caused by man or by the stipulated death set by God.

The compelling reason for a President to impose death penalty to a country damaged by corruption in government, illegal drugs and rampant criminality is therefore biblical. The imposition should not be prevented by human right advocates protecting  the human rights of criminals more than the victims and by the religious groups pretending to be biblical but never ever come to the knowledge of the truth.

Greedy Dogs

The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) expressed remorse yesterday over the “pain and sadness” inflicted on the faithful by the controversy over the lavish donations of funds for expensive vehicles to seven of its members from the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO). Source: Philippine Star-Manila, Philippines.

The bishops expressed their “deep sorrow” in a pastoral statement titled “A Time of Pain, A Time of Grace,” read by the CBCP’s outgoing president, Tandag, Surigao del Sur Bishop Nereo Odchimar.

Do not keep company with those who have not faith: for what is there in common between righteousness and evil, or between light and dark?

2 Cor 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you;

Who need funds for charity? Reports submitted to the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) show that the Church and affiliate Catholic groups are the top stockholders in companies such as the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), Philex Mining Corporation (PX), San Miguel Corporation (SMC), Ayala Corporation (AC), and Phinma Corporation (PHN), among others.

The Roman Catholic Archbishop of Manila, for example, owns more than 300 million shares of BPI and is the bank’s 4th largest owner. How much are these shares worth? As of May 2011, this is valued at more than P17 billion. Yes, that’s seventeen billion pesos, with a B.

Eccles 6:2 A man to whom God hath given riches, wealth, and honor, so that he wanteth nothing for his soul of all that he desireth, yet God giveth him not power to eat of it, but a stranger eateth it: this is vanity, and it is an evil disease.

Eccles 6:12 For who knoweth what is good for man in this life, all the days of his vain life which he spendeth as a shadow? for who can tell a man what shall be after him under the sun?

Aside from banking, the Roman Catholic Archbishop of Manila, together with its subsidiary hospitals and companies, is also invested in mining and construction.

As of March 31, 2011, it is the top 15th shareholder of Philex Mining Corporation (PX), the country’s biggest mining firm. It owns 3.2 million shares of PX currently worth more than P66 million.

It is also a top investor of Concrete Aggregates Corp. (CA), a supplier of construction materials such as processed aggregates, ready mix concrete and crushed sand. Its investment in CA is currently valued at around P4.5 million. Source:

Mt 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Generally speaking, when you have more than enough and not contented with what you have then you are a greedy dog.

Is 56:11 Yes, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.

Odchimar said it was their desire to help the people that prompted the bishops to receive donations from the PCSO. The Apostles who are disciples of the Lord never received anything from the Gentiles. In fact they gladly spend and be spent.

2 Cor 12:15 And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I am loved.

2 Cor 12:16 But be it so, I did not burden you: nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you with guile.

2 Cor 12:17 Did I make a gain of you by any of them whom I sent to you?

Never disguise illegal donations in aid of charity. For any donation solicited outside the church is prohibited, immoral and against christian doctrine.

3 Jn 1:7 Because for his name’s sake they went forth, taking nothing from the Gentiles.

Mt 10:8 Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons: freely ye have received, freely give.

Be like Saint Paul doing business to earn money for his ministry ready to spend and be spent.

Acts 18:3 And because he was of the same occupation, he abode with them, and wrought (for by their occupation they were tent-makers)

The intention of the Bishops may be good in purpose but it must not come from a questionable source.

Mt 23:23 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint, and anise, and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ye ought to have done, and not to leave the others undone.

Jas 2:10 For whoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Hand On Chest

Controversial former military chief and Energy Secretary Angelo T. Reyes died inside the Loyola Memorial Park in Marikina City.

According to the Eastern Police District. He shot himself on the spot and a preliminary report showed that he had a bullet wound in the heart.

Reyes, it was recalled, became AFP chief of staff from 1999 to 2001. Shortly after his retirement from the military service in March 1, 2001, he was appointed as Defense Secretary by then former President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

Reyes, also a key figure during the People Power 2 that toppled former President Joseph Ejercito Estrada from power in January 2001, has been in the hot seat as of late due to allegations that received P50 million in “send-off” money after he retired from the AFP as claimed by retired Lt. Col. George Rabusa.

His remains were laid to rest at the Libingan ng mga Bayani (heroes’ cemetery) in Taguig City.

Mt 5:21 Ye have heard that it was said to them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whoever shall kill, shall be in danger of the judgment:

During his necrological service, Lt. Col. Edgardo “Boogie” de Leon, shared that he believes Reyes took his life to save the military institution.

In my opinion, Reyes is a coward and a murderer of himself and must not be accorded with a full military honor of bravery. I just hope that come judgment day, God will have mercy on his soul.

Lk 16:15 And he said to them, Ye are they who justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men, is abomination in the sight of God.

Reyes listen to the dictates of the devil who is a murderer. He wants to kill the hidden man of the heart which is not corruptible.

1 Pet 3:4 But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

As shown in the picture, he laid his right hand on the chest but no where in my wildest imagination that there is another picture showing a pistol in his hand pointing to the heart.

Deut 32:39 See now that I, even I am he, and there is no god with me: I kill, and I make alive; I wound, and I heal: neither is there any that can deliver out of my hand.

He lost his faith on what God can do, belittling the power that made all things. Forgetting that, it is only God who can take our life.

This is my last song to Secretary Angelo Reyes who take his own life and to others who did the same mistake: ♫♪♫ Nobody, Nobody not you. ♪♫♪ And Nobody, Nobody not you. ♪♫♪
