Baptism With Fire

The first step to salvation is through water baptism.  A method of purification for the forgivenes of sins committed because of not knowing the truth. Before the customary immersion in water,  the recipient should repent first and accept Jesus as his saviour and as the only mediator between God and man.

1 Tim 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

Mk 1:4 John was baptizing in the wilderness, and preaching the baptism of repentance, for the remission of sins.

Water baptism  is the beginning of struggle to perfection.  There are statutes and judgment inside the Church of God that must be followed.  He that shall endure to the end, the same shall be saved.   It can be overcome by any person with faith because the yoke is easy and the burden is light.

Jn 16:33 These things I have spoken to you, that in me ye may have peace. In the world ye will have tribulation, but be of good cheer: I have overcome the world.

1 Jn 4:4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

We must reject the worldly desires of the flesh and set our eyes on things which are not seen because the things which are seen are temporal and things unseen are eternal.

Tit 2:12 Teaching us, that denying ungodliness, and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and piously, in this present world;

We deserve to be part of the promise of eternal life prepared by the Father of lights for those who love him. The just shall live by faith but if any man shall draw back, he failed the test of baptism with fire.

Lk 3:16 John answered, saying to them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit, and with fire:

The love of oneself prevent a believer to follow the teachings and ordinances of the Lord. If anyone will come after Jesus, let him deny himself, and take up the cross daily, and follow him. This is the word of the Lord.
