Looking Beyond

To try and offer help to people that are in trouble are done out of duty, instinct, pity, love or fear. Saving a life may be done through help or service, money assistance or prayer.

But looking beyond, the assistance made to an individual further extend to people who are dependent on him/her as a bread winner of the family and in case of a child, are the loving parents and grandparents. The truth in saving a life then is not the ultimate truth.

Jn 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

“Thy word is truth” is not definite in the absence of a definite article “the”, for beyond the word of God is the truth.

1 Cor 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

The truth is, God prepared something for us but looking beyond, we don’t know what’s in store for us. Unless we are saved, we will never come to the knowledge of the truth.

1 Tim 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Though the Angels of God know all things that are on the earth;

2 Sam 14:20 To bring about this form of speech hath thy servant Joab done this thing: and my lord is wise, according to the wisdom of an angel of God, to know all things that are on the earth.

The Angels of God know nothing about the deep things of God.

Job 4:18 Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly:

1 Cor 2:10 But God hath revealed them to us by his Spirit; for the Spirit searcheth all things, even the deep things of God.

1 Pet 1:12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

And so, like angels, I have this same ardent desire to know more of the truth from God as revealed by the Holy Ghost.

1 Cor 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

Is 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

Is 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Looking from earth to heaven and beyond up to the 3rd heaven, our level of intelligence does not even equal to 1% of the 100% of the truth which God hath prepared for us.
